Abstract: |
Salvage recording was carried out over six months, on a site which lay close to, or possibly within, the boundaries of the medieval town of Bewdley. Lax Lane being one of the oldest streets in the town. Previous works nearby had located the remains of post medieval tanning pits. The recording failed to provide evidence of the medieval burgage plots fronting onto Lax Lane. No deposits relating to the town boundary were observed. [Au(adp)] |
