Abstract: |
The watching brief revealed that no archaeological activity was recorded apart from the Neolithic and/or Early Bronze age flintwork from fields 3 and 4. A comprehensive level of monitoring and observation was undertaken over section 1-4 and it could only be concluded that either no concentrations of ancient activity had ever existed along the route of the pipeline or that the evidence had been removed through agricultural processes.
