Abstract: |
A small area of medieval ridge and furrow was recorded, as well as a small pit containing heat-affected pebbles and a late Bronze Age/Iron Age potsherd. A larger feature produced several sherds of sixth century Anglo-Saxon pottery, together with charcoal and more heat-affected pebbles. Three sherds of Roman pottery and a flint blade were recovered from the topsoil. It was unclear how these remains related to previous discoveries in the area. [Au(adp)] |
