Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken on a site which lay west of the Anglo-Saxon defences and of Wallingford itself. Archaeological deposits and features were identified, comprising four pits and a cultivation soil. Medieval and post-medieval pottery was recovered, along with a quantity of of bone and sundry pieces of post-medieval tile, a nail and fragments of clay pipe. [Au] |
