Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during works to install an overhead cable support pole and to lay associated cables in trenches at Lower Farm, Winterborne Whitechurch. A section of the proposed work was located within the known site of a deserted medieval village, a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Further small-scale groundworks were also observed. A small amount of post-medieval pottery was recovered from a location close to a buried chalk surface. [Au(abr)] |
