| Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a residential development, which had been identified as having good archaeological potential by an earlier desk-based assessment. Three of the seventeen trenches excavated were placed across the line of the parish boundary in an attempt to locate any features relating to it. No artefacts or features of archaeological interest were observed, although it was noted that a line of trees may have related to the parish boundary. It was recommended that no further archaeological work shoud be carried out at the site. [AIP] |
