Abstract: |
Assessment along the route of proposed water pipeline found that 48 sites were identified within a buffer of 500m of the pipeline. These included a single Scheduled Monument, also a Grade I Listed Building, and three other Listed Buildings. Ten of the sites were identified as directly within the route of the proposed pipeline. The most significant of these was the medieval hospital of St. James, to the south east of Northallerton, which was in operation between c.1200 and 1540. [Au(adp)] |
