Abstract: |
A watching-brief was instigated in the light of newly-discovered remains associated with Hylton Castle, through the original grounds of which lay the line of the pipeline. No features of archaeological interest were seen, although an isolated area of surviving ridge and furrow was discernable on air-photographs. [AIP] |
