Abstract: |
The site was identified as being part of the Catherdral Glebe lands, and was part of the Vicarage Croft in the 17th and 18th centuries. There were structures on parts of the site from at least the early eightenth centuries and probably before. Rebuilding occurred during the late 18th and 19th centuries, when the commercial premises were constructed. Most of the site has been built on at some point, although no standing buildings were identified within the proposal area. Some evidence of previous structures were identified on the ground surface.
