Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site. Artefacts dating from the palaeolithic to Roman times had been found in the area, and a probable late bronze age settlement had lain nearby. During the evaluation, prehistoric worked and burnt flints were recovered and a drain, probably of post-medieval date, was recorded. It was concluded that no further archaeological work would be necessary. [AIP] |
