Abstract: |
Three evaluation trenches were excavated following plans to replace an outside swimming pool with a new open air pool and an indoor pool with changing rooms. The site lies close to Tonbridge Castle. Little of archaeological interest was recovered except for a water-logged timber horizon. This is unlikely to be effected by the programme of works. A substantial amount of modern fill has been dumped across the site. [AIP] |
