Abstract: |
Chalk bedrock was revealed, with a 13th or 14th century ditch cutting through. Overlaying these levels was a thick deposit of medieval soil. The construction of an 18th-19th century house had removed many of the layers, indicating that those later than the 14th century did not survive within the site. [Au(abr)] |
