Abstract: |
Further trenching and watching briefs were held prior to, and during development of land at Kerry Farm. The site had previously yielded a late medieval pottery kiln and evidence of medieval buildings during an evaluation phase. Several medieval features were identified during the second phase of intrusive work on the site, however the miscellaneous pits and gullies containing medieval pottery were probably not significant within the well established medieval village. One ditch did raise more interest as it was interpreted as the medieval (14th-15th century) street frontage to the property. [Au(adp)] |
