Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in response to a planning condition. A geophysical survey had identified anomalies thought to have been associated with Roman kilns. Nine trial trenches were excavated on the location of the anomalies but no archaeological features or finds were revealed in any of the trenches. No finds were discernible within the ploughsoil.
