Abstract: |
The watching brief and part excavation of the site found a linear feature. Further exploration of the feature found an undated pit and a re-cut boundary ditch, with four post holes. The second cut of the ditch contained 15th century pottery. The evidence suggested that the features were linked with the laying out of the burgage plot in the 14th century. [Au(abr)] |
