Abstract:		 A series of 42 gravestones were recorded in the area of the new extension, surrounding pathway and access route, twenty of which were removed prior to excavation work beginning. Groundwork outside the church revealed sandstone wall foundations, probably belonging to two phases of an earlier north aisle, dating to the 12th and 14th centuries. Within the church the bedding for a late medieval tiles floor was revealed beneath the present wooden floor. [Au(abr)]
