Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the replacement of a large section of wooden diamond spike fencing with wrought iron sectional fencing along the top edge of the moat of the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Tonbridge Castle. The impact of the work was judged to be extremely minimal. The amount of disturbance was small, and it occurred in areas of the castle grounds that had been previously affected by earlier landscaping and by extensive tree root activity. [Au(adp)] |
