Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on the site prior to development. A number of very shallow truncated features were identified. In the main the features were linear features and were possibly land drains. A prehistoric pit was identified and was thought to be associated with the ditches. Some of the linear features also contained Roman finds, suggesting the site was used for agriculture from the late prehistoric to the Romano-British period. [Au(abr)] |
