Abstract: |
The desk-based assessment was carried out on a World Heritage Site. The study identified that the main site had potential for Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman and post-medieval remains and 36 Listed Buildings. The Park and Ride site had evidence of occupation during the Roman and medieval periods, as well as a single Listed Building. The Link Road Site had a potential for pre-medieval archaeology and a possible medieval bridge on site. In addition there was evidence of post-medieval activity. [Au(adp)] |
