Abstract: |
The desk-based assessment for the proposed oil exploration well and access road showed that archaeological remains were known in the vicinity and that there was the possibility of similar deposits within the development area. These may include a medieval park boundary and a Roman road. Map evidence indicated that the site had not been significantly built on. Therefore any remains may have been well preserved beneath the present ground surface. [Au(adp)] |
