A total of 405 objects were recovered during the metal detector survey, providing a comprehensive collection of 18th to 20th century artefacts including agricultural objects, machinery parts, domestic and equestrian items. No evidence was recovered for the Battle of Fulford, thought to have taken place in the area. [Au(adp)] |
