Abstract: |
The project was undertaken to monitor the excavation of geotechnical test-pits and service trenches for a new extension. The site comprised the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Warmley Brass works, the world's first industrial brass foundry and site of national importance. Warmley House itself was a Listed Building. The remains of a former wall, were located, and thought to be from a structure attached to Warmley House. Industrial deposits were also located, but the general lack of features was related to the small scale of the excavations. [Au(abr)] |
