Abstract: |
An evaluation took place on land adjacent to the graveyard at the behest of the Parish Council. The Office of the County Archaeologist requested the work on the grounds that adjoining lands to the north of the site exhibited cropmark evidence suggestive of concentrated ancient remains. No prehistoric or early historical cultural materials were observed. All remains belonged to the 18th century or after, and the conclusion drawn by the author was that they were relics of a farm cottage or the like. [Au(adp)] |
