Abstract: |
Within Area 1 a north to south aligned palaeochannel of undetermined width and depth was recorded. Within area 2, a pit, three post holes and four ditches attributed to a Romano-British date may have represented part of a possible small-scale settlement/farmstead adjacent to the Roman Road between Canterbury and the Isle of Thanet.
