Abstract: |
A non-planning related evaluation was carried out to ascertain the date, nature and state of preservation of archaeological deposits. Trenches were located to cut cropmarks noted by the county council on aerial photographs. One small gulley, containing a small number of sherds of probably Victorian pottery, was revealed. Nothing which could explain the cropmarks or any other features of archaeological interest were noted. [Au(adp)] |
