Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a windcluster development. In 1869, nine cinerary urns had been found by workmen excavating reservoirs, approximately 120m from the nearest part of the proposed development. During the evaluation, no archaeologically significant deposits were revealed, although relict stream or hill run-off channels and a stone-filled field drain were noted. The latest deposit filling one of the channels contained some 18th-19th century red-glazed earthenware. [AIP] |
