The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A watching brief was carried out during groundworks for a housing development at a site which lay within a Local Area of Archaeological Importance. A prehistoric settlement site lay 500m to the west, and a late Saxon boundary was thought to have passed c. 200m to the north. During the watching brief, only natural deposits and modern features were observed. A trial trench was excavated, in order to establish the nature of the natural deposits within part of the site.
