Archaeological monitoring of a stripped subsoil surface in advance of housing development at land off Green Road, Brandon, located a broad scatter of pits relating to prehistoric and 19th- 20th century phases of activity. Recovered material evidence primarily consisted of prehistoric struck flint, including an early Neolithic laurel leaf and post-medieval gunflint. [Au] |
