Abstract: |
An evaluation excavation was undertaken in a site which lay within a region of a known Roman cemetery, and medieval/post-medieval occupation and agricultural activity. Nothing relating to the Roman cemetery was revealed. Features relating to early post-medieval settlement and agricultural activity was revealed in the form of post holes, hearths and plough marks.
