Abstract: |
The watching brief was carried out over 60 visits from 2000. A few remains of the early barracks structures were exposed. The most significant of these was the second octagonal kitchen, as well as lengths of dividing wall between the Cavalry and Infantry barracks. A significant number of prehistoric ponds were discovered. It became clear thatt they covered a substantial proportion of the site. Further prehistoric struck flints were also recovered. [Au(abr)] |
