Abstract: |
The investigation was undertaken during the construction of a pipeline route which ran through an area of known archaeological activity ranging from the Neolithic through to the medieval periods. The investigation revealed five linear features that may have represented human activity in the vicinity or former courses of natural channels. Finds included a range of 17th to 19th century pottery, four sherds of medieval Bourne A/B ware and a possible prehistoric flint implement. [Au(abr)] |
