Abstract:		 A walkover survey at Brasted Place identified the upstanding features connected with the landscape of the 18th and 19th centuries, but was not appropriate for the discovery of features and or artefacts disturbed and buried during the construction of the buildings. The fact that little artefactual or occupation debris was found was probably explained by the fact that the present house does not occupy the original site of Brasted Place. [Au(adp)]
