Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken during groundworks on an area of development. Earlier geophysical and excavation work had identified major anomalies and deposits in close proximity to the site. The results identified a metalled surface similar in character to a surface present in a 1989 test-hole; the deposit contained a single sherd of Crambeck flanged bowl. Medieval sherds were indicative of a ploughsoil created in medieval times. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
