Abstract: |
Cotswold Archaeological Trust were commisioned by Lancaster University Archaeology Unit to carry out a metal detector survey on the Civil War battlefield site at Tewkesbury. The vast majority of artefacts recovered during the survey were dated to the post-medieval and modern periods and the only possible evidence of Civil War military activity on the site was a single lead shot located beside Southwick Brook.
