Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out. The site was covered with demolition material from the removal of the 1860 sandstone Methodist chapel and its 1958 brick-built extension. Once cleared, agricultural subsoil overlaying boulder clay was found. No other remains were encountered and finds consisted of modern glass, pottery and two clay pipe stems. [Au(adp)] |
