Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out in advance of a housing development. Most of the archaeological features revealed dated to the early post-medieval period and comprised five linear ditches and two pits. The ditches probably served as property boundaries whilst at least one pit probably served for rubbish disposal. No features or deposits associated with the Benedictine Priory, which stood close by, were recorded. [Au(abr)] |
