Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the construction of several chicken houses. The area of development lay in close proximity to Combwell Priory Farm, the site of the former monastery of St Mary Magdalene, a twelfth century abbey. Features relating to post-medieval agricultural activity were located, nothing relating to the medieval use of the site was revealed. [AIP] |
