Abstract: |
No archaeological features were observed in the initial topsoil strip. The second strip revealed an undated east-west ditch. This work did produce a small assemblage of worked and fire-cracked flint that may hint at possible Late Bronze Age activity in the area, and a quantity of post-medieval pottery likely to be associated with several late 18th century cottages that formerly occupied an adjacent field.
