Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out, revealing two undated ditches that appeared to be sealed by deposits associated with surviving elements of medieval ridge and furrow. A number of other potential features were revealed within the trenches, which were irregular and interpreted as bioturbation or geological variations. Field drains were plentiful and attested to the vulnerability of the area to flooding. [Au(adp)] |
