Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out on the site. Five features were observed comprising four rubbish pits, medieval in date, and an undated ditch. The ditch was cut by one of the pits and was thought to be 13th century. These finds were unexpected and pointed to an unrecorded medieval settlement being in the area. [Au(abr)] |
