Abstract: |
Neither trench provided any clear presence of medieval or earlier deposits on the site. It was apparent from the evaluation that the medieval settlement had never expanded sufficiently to reach the curcuit of the town wall on the western side. The pottery assemblage represented a useful group of post-medieval material, perhaps derived from the old grammar school.[Au(abr)] |
