Abstract: |
A single trial trench was excavated on the site to identify the location of a boundary ditch (Red/Hyrsum ditch) for the Royal park. The ditch was not identified but gullies and post holes relating to medieval backplot and agricultural activity were identified. A post-medieval wall constructed from reused stone from the nearby abbey was also identified. [Au(abr)] |
