Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the construction of residential buildings on the site. The investigations found evidence for the demolition of the old linen mill that stood on the site in the 19th century. Under the drains of the building, a medieval pit was discovered which contained a large quantity of 12th-14th century pottery sherds. [AIP] |
