Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundworks for a new residential dwelling. The proposed development was in the core of the historic core of the village and medieval earthworks were located nearby to the south-west. A gully was located during the work that may have dated to the 13th-15th centuries AD. A sherd of residual Roman pottery was also located with the feature. [Au(adp)] |
