Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation, consisting of the excavation of six trial trenches, was undertaken in response to a condition upon planning permission for the South Thames College Site. Redeposited medieval and post-medieval finds were recovered which were not thought to be significant. Also 19th century foundations were recorded. The ground was thought to have been reduced to the south, removing possible remains, and to have been repeatedly dug over the north of the site. [Au(adp)] |
