Abstract: |
This watching brief identified deposits and a sunken stone structure of probable medieval date, comparable with those encountered during the rescue excavations at the Leominster Buttercross site in 1991. A comparatively high concentration of dumped post-medieval finds were observed in the backfill of the medieval structure, while post-medieval pits and deposits were also observed.[AIP] |
