Abstract: |
Archaeological recording during groundworks to the rear of Mancetter Memorial Hall, within the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Mancetter Roman Fort, revealed a few abraded fragments of Romano-British pottery and tile but no features of this date. The majority of the area had been built up, possibly at the time of the Memorial Hall was constructed, thereby protecting any archaeological features. [Au(abr)] |
