Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	An archaeological watching brief was held over the excavation of service trenches, and the observation of the removal of a mature tree and root structure. The results of the 1997 evaluation were confirmed by the observation, along with the continuation of the same stratigraphic sequence across the study area. The groundworks were of insufficient depth to intrude upon the archaeological resource established in the evaluation. [Au(adp)]
