Abstract: |
The northern part of the site was relatively undisturbed but, lying within the former floodpalin and marshland area of the River Kenwyn, it appeared to have remained undeveloped until the 18th century when orchards were established. The southern area of the site however, was considerably disturbed by the construction of a garage in the 20th century, which appeared to have eradicated earlier archaeological deposits, including possible features associated with Cavedras House or later post-medieval properties.[Au(abr)] |
