Abstract: |
An archaeological fieldwalking and walkover survey was undertaken at the site of the proposed Corkscrew Opencast Coal Site. Few finds were located, the only discrete scatter being of medieval and post-medieval pottery in Field 7 to the east of the proposed development. No earthworks were located other than traces of medieval strip field systems in Field 10 to the north-east. [Au(abr)] |
